Two week Itinerary with children where to start?

Hi! I’m trying to build my family itinerary for our family trip end of September 2018. We would like to start in Tokyo and make our way to Osaka. Where do I start???

Welcome to the TA forums!

Please start with www.japan-guide.com for some inspiration. The site also has suggested itineraries.

How old are your kids and what are they interested in?

My daughters will be 8 and 5 when we leave. My kids are pretty open. Anything new brings them excitement. Disneyland, Disney Sea, KidZania are on our to do list for sure

@Leah C -

Lonely Planet publishes a Tokyo guide:

But they do not publish a guide for Osaka. So you might want to go with the Lonely Planet Japan guidebook:

https:/…

You don't have to read the entirety of both books, just the relevant sections on what there is to see and do.

Put together a list of things you would want to see and for your kids as well.
