Riviera best rooms?

Can anyone tell me, should I make a request before travelling of any specific room or floor? I am travelling alone and like sea views.

And does anyone have an email addy for the hotel?

Thanks

Oh No!!

i have friends there at the moment who have been going for years

I have been to many hotels in Tunisia. Riviera .and Chich Khan (Yasmine Hammamet) are up there as favourites.I hope to visit the Riviera again soon

I go to the Houda Beach in Skanes soon. I was there many years ago.

By all accounts its still a fine hotel, and i am also still close to some old haunts in Sousse (mostly pubs !)

Enjoy your stay

Mick

Hey Mick after spending 8 hours researching I chose the Aziza Beach Golf and Spa as my No 1 choice, but when I tried to book it was fully booked, hence booked Riviera. Have you been to the Aziza?

Thanks for the email link, but I don't know what to ask for. Are there specific rooms or floors that are better than others?

Also, is the Thomas Cook rep in evidence at the Riviera?

I am travelling alone and so am probably more apprehensive than usual.

I do not know the hotel Aziza Beach

Request a room near the lifts overlooking gardens and pool area

Thomas Cook rep ? supposed to be!!

You will meet him/her at the welcome meeting

Thomas Cook have an office in Sousse

if you have any problems, get the phone number from rep at your welcome meeting,, in case he /she does a runner ,for the duration !!

When we were there the hotel was very quiet (mostly)

The rep., i believe "managed" a few other hotels ,and was rarely seen .unless called for

Then again ,no one cared ! We had a great time

Mostly middle aged/retired youngsters at this time of year

You will make pals, I am sure, and you will certainly meet repeat visitors who will keep you right on things to do/where to go etc.

Enjoy

Mick

"Request a room near the lifts overlooking gardens and pool area"

Thanks for the tip. I will certainly email them and also to ask for a walk-in shower as I find it hard to climb into a bath.

Thanks also for the tip re making friends -- I am very sociable and not shy to ask anyone anything. I don't know why I am feeling a bit "wobbly" about going on my own considering I have been abroad on my own several times before. Just me being silly!

I followed that page link and the "contact us" link and sent them an email but got this back:
