First time coming to Patong, would love to know if there is an orphanage or children's hospital nearby,to donate some of my spoilt rotten children toys and clothes to.

Friends visited an orphanage in Thailand not sure if it was in patong or Chang Mai.

They were asked to donate food not clothes ect. They gave the orphanage a 10 kg bag of rice and then spent the day there helping out. Will try and find out were it was.

If you contact Mark from Phuket Sail Tours he will also be able to help you out, he is in Rotary and they support some good projects etc.

Have look at this orphanage

There is a list of things that you can donate like formula etc, if you dont want to make a monetary donation.

I am going to Chaing Mai in August, and I hope to go here for a visit.
