Malaria Tablets

This is me being nosey really :-) but how many people are not taking malaria tablets this year as Goa is now classed as being a low risk area?(unless you have particular health concerns) I am not, OH is.

Myself and OH are not taking them this year, even though we have bought them before the risk went to low, lucky enough they have a good date 06/2016. :-)) Gel

I'm not taking them this year. And Badger hasn't for years as they don't agree with him.

Our Goan friends have said for a while that the risk is low and that there is no need to take them. I always forget to take them anyway, especially after a few Old monks :-)

We're not taking them this year, for the first time. Went to see the Doctor yesterday and she said 'Goa is low risk not no risk' so take the usual precautions to avoid bites.

We won't be taking them this season, though we've both taken them on previous trips.

We aren't taking them this season either. Same as other posts, have always taken them before, but paid for Malarone which is expensive, but no side effects. Always use mossie spray before we go out too.

We have always used Odomos as we have found that the most effective, shall carry on using that plus the mossie coils.
