Drinks at Borgata

When I went to Bellagio 2 years ago, one thing that I was impressed with was the drinks. I think I ordered a cable car, and it was served in a big martini glass with an orange peel and everything. In AC, all my drinks come in small plastic cups.

Now, I know I cannot compare Vegas to AC, but considering Borgata is considered the most Vegas-like casino in AC, is there any drink in Borgata that comes close? Do they have special types of martinis, such as chocolate martini? If I order wine, will it come in a plastic cup or a wine glass? Besides, any favorite Borgata drink suggestions?

I am a Red Label player, so I wanted to do some research before ordering something that may not be provided complimentary to low rollers. I also plan on visiting the B Bar for some VP action, I assume complimentary drink selection at the bar and through cocktail waitresses is the same?

I did search the forum and found

tripadvisor.com/ShowTopic-g29750-i78-k247112…

to be very helpful - I'll surely be ordering some on this list. Any additional help will be appreciated. Thanks!

I usually order toasted almond and they're very good.

In my experience, the drink service at Borgata is very good. Beer is served in bottles, and I've never seen any drinks served in plastic cups. The drink service at Borg is definitely a step up from many of the other casinos in AC. They are not the only place with excellent drink service, but in my opinion, they are the best.

No plastic cups huh? That's good, something different from my usual Taj drinks. I am very much looking forward to the trip and since it'll be a 3-night stay, I will have time to try all types of drinks, including toasted almond. Thanks for the suggestion.

If you order coffee, that will usually come in a styrofoam cup with a lid; but there aren't many places that will serve it to you in a mug on the main casino floor. I haven't been there in a while, but I think I remember hot chocolate and coffee arrving in glassware at the Golden Nugget. GN is another place that had exceptional drink service the last few times I was there, and I used to go there a lot. GN has a lot to offer besides quality drink service, but ultimately The Borgata has more of the games I like at the denominations I like, so I play there more than GN. Good luck...hopefully you'll be writing a trip report about your big winnings on the trip :)

Funny but true story, while gambling at Harrahs my wife says to the cocktail waitress that her drink is goodbut doesnt look so nice in a plastic cup. She says too bad they dont offer glasses like Borgata. The waitress says to my wife that she should be glad her drink is in plastic because its so much cleaner than the glasses borgata serves them in which really arent as clean.

This had to be one of the dumbest things said by a CW yet lol
