My wife and I want to take our daughter aged 10 to Atlantic City. Can we take her with us on the Chinese bus or the casino bus?
Your child may be able to travel free
At other times Children's Fares - Children (ages 5-11) save 50 percent and up to three children (ages 4 and under) ride free with a passenger paying any valid fare.
The Chinese Bus Company also lists children's fares on their website
I do not see Atlantic City on your list.
I am referring to the casino bus that leaves from the corner of Division Street and Bowery Streets in the Lower East Side opposite Citibank on 2 Mott Street. I tried to take my daughter on that bus a few years ago but they would not let her on the bus because of her age. Have they changed the rules since then?
why not call them and ask.
The Chinatown busses have a horrible safety record. Pay the extra dollars for safe transportation.
I have ridden Chinese busses many times and have never had any problems. Last I heard they were banned from Philadelphia but were allowed to go to other cities. They are certainly faster than Greyhound.
Here is a "Chinatown bus" incident that took place a short distance from where I live. Fortunately, this did not happen on the next day when I would have been at this intersection at this time. A man who lived in the building next to mine was killed. Dahlia Bus has since ceased operation. I would avoid these companies.
