One of my son is easily get car sick symptom and I would like to know the following:

1) Can we choose our own seat when making reservation directly with Giant Ibis bus .

2) Which seat you normally choosing and what section of the bus.

Hi Ian

I understand why you wouldn't travel Giant Ibis after that but I used them in August last year and they were great.

We bought our ticket at a travel agent in Siem Reap I think on Pub St ( they had a fish foot spa out the front if that helps?) and the staff were lovely. The bus was new and a much smoother ride. I suffer from travel sickness pretty bad and I was so so sick by the time I arrived in Siem Reap on Mekong Express that I seriously considered flying back to Phnom Penh instead of busing it.the Mekong Express bounced all the way on that road. But the Giant Ibis bus was fantastic and 2 stops were great for me, meant I could get out and get some fresh air.

Will be using Giant Ibis again if I go that route for sure.

In saying that, I am in no hurry and love the countryside so buses suit me, if only I could get rid of that damn motion sickness!
