Recomendations Please

The last time we stayed at the Habtoot Grand we had a small room that opened up on to the pool area. This would appear to be no longer available. As such looking for recomendations for a similar hotel in Dubai that has rooms whcih open up onto a beach or pool area. Help please

There are many but your budget will dictate where you can stay.

Is there a particular reason why you want a room that opens directly out onto the pool or beach area ?

Perhaps if you can share a bit more information we can help further.

I can’t think of many hotels that have direct access to the pool or beach unless you look at Suites or villas which will be significantly more cost wise than The Habtoor

If you’re happy to stay a little further out of Dubai then look at a beachfront room at Palm Tree Court. Also The Jebel Ali hotel has ground floor rooms which lead onto the grassed area but not directly beachfront

I would also recommend a lagoon access room at The Anantara where you can dip straight into the lagoon pool from your room

The hotel also has over water villas but they’re quite pricey

The Westin has ground floor rooms but I can’t recall if you can walk straight out of your room or not as I didn’t stay on the ground floor

If your budget can stretch to a suite or executive room then there’s many hotels that may suit such as The One & Only resorts and some of the rooms within The Jumeirah chain of hotels

Ritz Carlton ground floor rooms open out onto a patio that leads directly to the beach or pool as do ground floor rooms at Palm Tree Court.

BUT your budget may not stretch to those and maybe you would get more luxury for your money if you gave up on the idea of walking straight out of your room onto the pool or beach area and instead went for a nice room with a balcony a little higher up with views in a more reasonable hotel such as

Mina Seyahi

Westin

Hilton

etc

Here's the issue - for that access, you're talking big coin. You may get lucky in a beach hotel by requesting/securing a ground floor room, but they you'd likely have to hop over the balcony/handrail.

Far better would be to look at somewhere plush like a Villa at Nikki Beach if it's a dealbreaker to not have direct access.
