Spending Money for Dubai

Hey :)

Myself and a friend are looking to go to Dubai in late October/early November for 3-4 days. However, neither of us have been before so we are unsure what pricing there is like and how much spending money we would need to bring each.

Hotel, breakfast and flights would be paid for separately. So the spending money would just be for evening meal, drinks and activities.

We are looking to do/visit (some) of the following:

- Wild Wadi Waterpark

- Aquaventure Waterpark

- Burj Khalifa

- Dubai Mall

- Dubai Aquarium

- Some sort of Desert tour

Thanks in advance for any help that is given!

Prices for the activities in your list can be googled easily enough.

Buy the BK ticket from the official site beforehand as walk in prices are over twice as dear, other attractions you can walk in, no need to buy in advance really.

Check out the ‘entertainer app’, packed with two for one offers thatmay be of use, plenty of threads on that subject here on the forum. You can view the app to see what’s on offer before purchasing it...or so I believe.

Food money is subjective, and is down to your choice as we have no idea if you want 5* dining or McDonalds do we? Meals can generally be paid for on a card of some kind. Most major card types are widely accepted.

Platinum Heritage is often given good recommendations on here for a choice of a Safari, so again, googling them can give you the prices.

Advise changing some money in the airport to cover cost of taxi to your chosen hotel as they don’t accept cards, then change cash via money changers in the malls or use cards in the mall ATMs for your further spends.

Google is your starting point.

I'd plan for £150 a day although you most likely won't spend it all
