Are the tours really the advertised prices?

I see links to yoirsnon TA and wonder are those the real prices ? I’ve been to many countries and find that walking around the town gets you the same tours at often much better prices than buying in advance.

Is Cusco the same? It’s kinda hard to want to book a tour so far in advance without knowing the local price.

My impression was that if you wait to book until you get there, you chance it that it will be sold out since there's a 200 people limit a day to go on the inca trail.

Inca trail.must be booked in advance since there is a limit to the number of people who can walk the trail.

All other tours can be booked on the spot for lower prices.
