How many days?

We are a couple of seniors planning to fly From Santiago to Puerto Montt and stay 5 nights in Puerto Varas, We will rent a car and also do some tours. Would like your opinion, is that too many days to spend in the area?

Hello,,,,you could go

Day 1: Frutillar and Puerto Octay

Day 2: Ensenada,volcano Osorno, Cascadas, Petrohue Waterfall, Petrohue,,,take a small ship to Peulla at Todos Los Santos Lake

Day 3.- Puerto Montt and Angelmo

Day 4.- Go to Chiloe Island,,,crossing the Canal de Chacao,,,by ferry boat ,,you can cross with your car to Ancud and Castro Cities

Day 5: Going south by the Austral Route from Puerto Montt to Caleta Arena, about 30 miles south of Puerto Montt you can cross with your car by ferry boat to Caleta Puelche ,,going to to Hornopiren or to Cochamo,,,

You can see beautiful landscapes,,,good food and very safe and beautiful cities with good hospitality

Have a nice stay in Puero Varas,, called the roses city ......,the city of my Grandfather, and the city of my mother,family ,,,best Regards,,, Arturo
