Pucon with a 1 year old in late June/Early July?

My wife and I will be in Chile with our 1 year old at the end of June/first week of July. We've been recommended to visit Pucon but we're wondering what activities will be available.

We're OK taking our child hiking/snowshoeing (we've done a lot of snowy hikes and non-snowy hikes with her) but we're not that interested in skiing/snowboarding. Are there other things to do? Or are many of the non-skiing activities limited to the summer months?

Our alternative is to head to Atacama Desert and Valparaiso. Any thoughts on that?

Thanks

Pucon in winter is a magical place.

Tons of different food options.

In regard of activities you can go for a boat ride in the lake, there are volcanic cave's tours for all the family, canopy, snow trekking, horse back tours, thermal waters, plenty to do.

Pucón is a small town with hundreds of alternatives of things to do

The weather is often rainy in the winter, with no views.
