Urgent Help for Mt Fuju day trip tomorrow

Hello

We are in Tokyo and want to go to Mt Fuji tomorrow. We tried to book a tour through hotel and its sold out for tomorrow. Now we are left to go by ourselves as we leave Tokyo on Wednesday.

We are staying at CST Shinjuku and want help (step by step) for arranging a trip to Mt Fuji which includes Lake Arshi and Hakone Gondola and lunch options (vegetarian) along the way. As we don’t know the language, step by step will help us plan the day and make the most of it.

Please help we are 3 travellers- 2 adults and 1 child.

Thanks in advance

Well, ...

1) First please understand that Hakone and Fuji Five Lakes Area are two different areas. Pick either.

2) If you want to take the Godola (Ropeway) and see Lake Ashi, then it's Hakone. Go to the Odakyu counter at Odakyu Shinjuku Station at the west exit of Shinjuku Station in the early morning (underneath Odakyu Department Store). Buy Hakone Free Pass: https://www.odakyu.jp/english/passes/hakone/

3) Take the Odakyu Romance Car to Hakone Yumoto, then Hakone Mountain Railway to Gora, then Hakone Cable Car (funicular) to Sounzan. From there, the Gondola will take you to Owakudani (the Great Boiling Valley); if weather is fine, you'd see Mt Fuji. Follow the people to Togendai by Lake Ashi, and take the Pirate Ship across Lake Ashi to Motohakone or Hakonemachi port. From there, you can return to Yumoto or Odawara by bus.

4) You may visit museums in Hakone area. Hakone Open Air Museum is in Kowakudani, Okada Museum of Art is in near Yunessan. Pola Museum of Art is in Sengokuhara. Old Hakone Checkpoint (Sekisho) and museum is in Hakonemachi near the Imperial Villa. Bus routes are shown here:

5) Ask tourist information staff (might stop over at Hakone Yumoto or Odakyu Shinjuku to get maps and brochures) or railway/cable car/ropeway/bus staff if there's something you don't understand.

6) The best view point of Mt Fuji could be Otome-toge Pass in the direction of Gotemba (bus from Gora and Sengoku), but the view is not easily guaranteed in this season.

7) There are many hotel/ryokans that offer onsen bath. https:/…Hakone_openairbath.pdf

I don't think most foreign visitors to Hakone understand Japanese. Just relax, don't be stressed out to plan everything, improvise as you go.
