Train from Narita Airport to Shin-Kamagaya Station

Hi there,

I was advised to take the train from Narita Airport to Shin-Kamagaya station via the Hokuso line but I couldn’t find this line on Hyperdia. Would you please tell me which train/line I should take instead? Thank you!

Take the Keisei Line train Access Express. It takes ~35 minutes, no transfer. The fare is 910yen:

Thank you! Do you know if the JR pass works on this line?

Thank you for your help. I didn’t see any Hokuso train name listed on Hyperdia schedule. Does it also go by a different name?

No, it doesn't as it's run by a non-JR company, Keisei Railway. Even if it did, you don't want to waste one day of JR Pass for a 910yen fare. Are you buying a JR Pass and if so, are you sure it will pay off? If you post the entire itinerary, we can advise.

Don't worry to much about what hyperdia shows or not. It's a poor route finder and not 100%. The name of the line is Keisei Main Line and the train name is Access Express.

A part of Keisei Line is called Hokuso Line, but I have never heard anybody refers by that name. See:

Thank you for the additional info. We purchased the 7 day JR pass and plan to take the train from Tokyo to Kyoto then Nara then Osaka and back to Tokyo again. I know JR pass covers Tokyo-Kyoto route as well as Osaka-Tokyo but I don’t know if it would cover the Kyoto-Nara-Osaka route. If it doesn’t, should I buy an IC card like Pasmo to pay the fare? It’s our first time visiting Japan so we are new to this train system. Thanks again!
