Pod Chocolate alternative tour

So we are off to Bali with the kids in 23 days (but who's counting?!?!). We had planned on going to the POD chocolate factory and doing the tour while in Ubud but have just discovered that they won't allow our 3 year old to participate in the tour (well he can as long as I wear him and he doesn't touch any of the chocolate we will be tasting or making!!). So now we're looking for an alternative chocolate tour that will be more accommodating of our little guy.

Has anyone found any great chocolate plantations/factories etc where you can do a tour to see how the chocolate is made and maybe do some tasting? Our 12 year old is gutted as this was her one top thing to do in Bali.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You could go to Charlie's in Jasri. Not on the same scale as what you planning on, but still lots of fun, or perhaps consider having your youngest babysat at your hotel, whilst you visit POD -

Are there 2 adults taking the kids to Bali? Maybe one of you could take the 12yr old to do the tour, while the other one does something else the 3yr old will enjoy.

We are 2 adults and 3 kids so that’s not a bad idea. Thanks for the tips

My kids are so different, we sometimes do things separately if one wants to do something and the other one doesn't. We love a family holiday to be together, but every now and again it's nice to do different things to keep everyone happy :)
