You mean the one in Wan Chai? Right next door is Assaggio Trattoria Italiana at the Hong Kong Arts Centre. I would rate it as a bit above average myself but the prices aren't too bad.

Otherwise, if you cross back over to Wan Chai proper, there are lots of choices available. You should post a budget to get recommendations that suit your needs.

Loads of decent street eats in Wan Chai and Causeway Bay area as well as bars, restaurants, snack shops and bakeries. No trouble at all finding cheap eats.

Def. not cheap eats, just ate there, very expensive and dreadful service. Head inland rather than round the harbour area.

Cheap and expensive are all relative. OP never gave a budget anyway so it's impossible to define what is reasonable in his/her case. There are some reasonable restaurants and even cheap eateries at Causeway Centre to the Great Eagle Centre, including fast food places.

Sammy is right. What's our definition of "cheap" eats?

It is very hard to make any suggestion on restaurants without knowing "what style". Just cheap? Standard answer: McDonald's. :)

Macca's for "western" food, Eat East for more oriental style (though I don't know if they have any outlets around Wanchai).

In Wan Chai you can find lots of Thai, Filipino and Kebab shops that definitely fall into the cheap eats category by how we would normally define it here in Hong Kong. There are some restaurants and then some street stall like eateries more similar to what you can find in other SE Asian cities where the food is considerably cheaper.

A local style cheap-eats place that we sometimes try is called Pie & Tart Specialists but they seem to mostly be on the Kowloon side, not even sure if I can recall one being on HK Island or not. Here is a link (w/pictures) if interested.
