Bullet train Beijing to Xian

On this train route I see there are tunnels. I have severe claustrophobia and have a problem with the tunnels. If I know in advance what to expect, it's a little better.

Can anyone tell me the approximate time spent in the tunnels? We drove through one in Southern Italy that lasted 20 minutes and I still haven't recovered....

Any information is appreciated

I think that the longest tunnels are about 8km. When you are travelling at 3 to 5 km/min they take less then 3 minutes.

Lines to avoid would be Guangzhou to West Kowloon - in tunnel from Shenzhen North all the way so about 20 minutes.

Also Guilin to Sanjiang spends most of its time in tunnel with occasional flashes of valley.
