Safe, Clean Accommodation for single Female traveller

Has anyone got any accommodation suggestions for central Bangkok. I want to stay around the Khao San Road area, in a clean, safe and cheap hostel or Guest house. Places I’ve seen on the internet look a bit dodgy and because I’m travelling on my own I would like some recommendations.

Im looking for air con and hot water aswell.

Any recommoadtions would be great

Thanks

I stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott I was travelling alone as well.. It is on a side street between the four seasons and the grand hyatt but half the price and just as nice lol 125 canadian very new and clean (as we like them) good location near skytrain and Siam Centre. Have fun!

I would highly recommend Diamond House:

I stayed there when I was travelling alone and it was a real haven. I felt totally safe. It is 5 mins walk from Khao San and very reasonably priced. Just msg me if you have any questions.

Have a great trip

I agree Siam is more central, but Khao San has more of a personality and if you are travelling alone you will be more likely to meet more single travellers in Khao San. If you are staying a while Khao San is fine because you can take the water boat and explore but if you only have a few days you might want to stay in Siam. Still, The Grand Palace, Wat Po etc is closer to Khao San than Siam...all depends what you want to see :)
