Due to travel changes with the flooding in the Bangkok area I won't be making my flight on November 9th, 2011. I booked this flight from the U.S. a few months back. It appears no refund or flight credit will be available for the BKK to Chiang Mai flight I can't take. My U.S. airline issued me a exception on the flight from Seattle WA to BKK because of the flooding but AirAsia might not have the same policy.
From what I read the only part of the airfare I can get a refund on is the airport tax. Maybe not worth the time on a $130 ticket??
Maybe this is why the ticket was so much less than other carriers. Cheers.
