30 Yrs couple in Thailand

I want to visit Thailand from 24th Dec onwards for christmas & new year party, further to explore Thai culture, food etc.

Please advise:

* Is it better to go without plan & making 1 way air ticket? Or is it recommendable to book holiday package from travel websites?

Which one will be price effective

* What itinerary you suggests for long duration more than 1 week?

During those peak tourism dates you should probably book accommodation in advance. You don't say where in Thailand, but most popular destinations will be very busy and prices up. Depending what kind of visa you may also require proof of onward/return flight.

You probably will not be able to board your plane to come to Thailand without proof of onward travel. It has to be a flight.

It is high season. Depending where you want to go to. It’s advisable to book in advance.

A long duration..more than a week. You will need to be more specific. You will need to decide how many days and how many destinations

Hi Ravi

You have not indicated which passport you’ll be using for your trip. It’s always easier for us to answer some questions when we know that due to visa requirements.

You cannot book a one way flight into Thailand and be permitted to board. You need a flight ticket indicating proof of onward travel. Therefore the issue of price effectiveness isn’t relevant.

Sorry, we are travellers just like you, not travel agents, so we cannot produce an itinerary for you. Perhaps you can do what most of us do before visiting a new place. That is, do some research and plan the trip to suit our individual interests and budget.

Thailand is a pretty big country, where would you like to spend that 1 week? The period mentioned is peak period, the accommodation has to be settled early

With no return ticket, you are likely to be barred from boarding the plane at your embarkation point.
