By doing Delhi/Agra/Jaipur, you will essentially be completing the Golden Triangle that a lot of visitors like to do. Udaipur is a lovely place and Varanasi is another where tourists go by the dozens. Since you mention museums, you could check out the national museum in Delhi. As for temples, you must fit in the Golden Temple somewhere in your schedule. It should leave you in awe. I think you will find more than your fair share of fortresses in the state of Rajasthan itself. Weather conditions in November should be a plus as well. Hope this helps.

Found this in a different post and have copy pasted the entire portion below...

"Rajasthan does have a lot of forts, but Mehrangarh fort from Jodhpur is one of the largest forts in India The museum in the Mehrangarh fort is one of the most well-stocked museums in Rajasthan. You can have a look at https://youtu.be/22ONtTL9Eq4 One section has a selection of old royal palanquins In other, Armoury Paintings and Turban Gallery. You can also get the audio guide at the gate. Most visted fort by both domestic and international tourists."

Hi Neil,

Like visiting temples- These cities are known as temple cities of India. You can visit one or all depending upon the time you have: Mathura, Vrindavan, Varanasi, Bhubaneshwar, Madurai, Khajuraho.

Fortresses- Many cities of Rajasthan State (Jaipur, Udaipur, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, Chittorgarh), Agra, Delhi, Gwalior.

Museums- Delhi is full of museums. Jaipur, Mumbai, Nagpur, Pune, Kolkata.

Any other suggestions of place to go-Orrcha.

Raj,

Train Ticket Please

How many days do you advise staying in each place and will be travelling between them on train or bus. Is this possible?
