Dear All, does anybody know if you have received rejection when applying for Online visa through evisa Zambia site. Can you still claim for visa at the border - in our case - Livingstone Airport?
Zhamil.... read my experience above. My suggestion forget Zambia, they only need your money. The really dont care.
hi true.....i know its a very disgusting experience after paying n not getting a decent response...we aint going in as refugees or seeking jobs there.......we are going as respectable tourists.....cheers tc....
Shamil, I mentioned above, three weeks after my application still no response. When I arrived in Victoria Falls, I come to Zambia Imigration and ask status of my application. I told them I have been to five continents, and never been rejected. They can see visas in my passport, but they dont take it to consideration. My suggestion, forget Zambia if you have rejected.
Anyone successfully found the reason for rejection and ways to re-apply and get an approval? We are in same boat. Leaving on Juy 7th and today got rejection letter with no reason. Looking at options.
I got rejected too. Now I don't know what to do
I was recently rejected for no apparent reason...same as everyone else. I called the customer service and sent an email, no response. I then dialed the PR number and spoke to a kind gentleman. I explained that I had already planned my trip with a fully paid flight ticket and booked accommodation. I was asked to reapply and I got my visa.
This not a good situation for you people. I applied as an Australian for the e-visa a couple of years ago and was rejected also. My wife and I who visit Zambia every year just decided to turn up as normal at Ndola and we were given 28 days as usual. Now I know you want a multiple entry/double entry visa but surely getting into Zambia is the first priority. There is an immigration department in every large town and you just need to go there to ask for the double entry or for an extension. I have never had a problem. I suspect the e-visa has certain parameters and if you fall outside of those just slightly you get rejected.
Hi I am Filipino passport holder and been to Zambia so many times and have a Zambian boyfriend and 5 year old son with a Zambian passport. My son and I came to Philippines to attend for my mother's funeral. Now we are going back to Zambia so that the boy can start school and his visa here in Philippines will expire very soon and prepare the marriage process with my boyfriend, I applied visa online but I recieved the response that my Visa is rejected with no reasons. And I provide all the documents needed. It is devastating that my son is a Zambian and need to see his father in Zambia and just rejected my application.
Wow.. I'm not alone!
I feel weird that among all countries I visited in Africa, Asia, Europe, and America this is the first time I got a rejection for my application and with no clear reason!
However, I read somewhere that the evisa won't be valid for Victoria Falls point of entrance (is it true?) whereas I was planning to cross the border by land through that entry point (I'm staying in Zimbabwe side). I was applying for Single entry when I got rejected. I sent emails and tried to call them but none of them answered.
So now, I'm thinking is it worth a try to apply for transit visa instead? I really wanna go to the Zambia side for the devil's pool!
Edited: 5 years agoI was also rejected twice, no explanation
