I'm working out the details of the ending of our 2+ week itinerary for April 2018. I'm looking at starting in Casablanca and will spend our first night there as I don't want to travel after arriving. I do want to see the Hassan Mosque and a few other sights in Casablanca.
I'm trying to decide between R/T Casablanca tickets or open jaw tickets arriving Casablanca and leaving Marrakech.
The end of the trip is still a work in progress and a big piece of this will be whether we fly R/T to Casablanca or leave from Marrakech. I'd really like to end the trip in a seaside town as a way to "chill out" before returning home to the US.
In my current plan, we arrive toward the end of our trip in Marrakech and stay for 3 nights, then go to El Jadida for the last night. However, I'm concerned about traveling to the airport from here (see my other thread).
If we fly home from Marrakech, we can travel to a coastal town after 2 nights, sleep 1 night in a coastal town, and then return to Marrakech for the final night before our flight home - but I hate breaking up a city stay. If we do this option, I would also consider going to Essaouria.
I could pass on the seaside town - it's not essential, but it would be nice. Would appreciate feedback about what makes more sense, if we choose to visit a seaside town at the end of our trip. If we decide to pass on this option, returning from Marrakech makes more sense.
