El mangroove, Westin, or Andaz

Planning a trip over thanksgiving with the whole large family ,8 adults and 6 children(11months -12yrs). We have narrowed it down to these three hotels, but can’t decide. Thought I would turn to the expertise of this Forum. We are planning on staying a week as a group, but a few of us were thinking of staying longer and maybe venturing into other parts of the country. (Planning on flying in and out of Liberia).

Would you be staying on the grounds the entire time or are there day trips you would want to be making?

Good question. Some of the group are the type that would stay on property the whole time and some are the type that want to get around and see other parts. Got to love traveling with completely different personalities. :-)

Mangroove and Andaz have better location for day trips but the Westin seems to be a bigger place with more to do on-site.

Not sure if that helps you though.

The beach is better at The Westin, the prettiest of the 3. The beach at El Mangrove is great for swimming but often has campers on it as it's easily access for locals and the Andaz beach can disappear entirely at high tide. On the plus side, there would be no vendors on the beach at Andaz tying to sell you trinkets.
