There's not much to see snorkelling off Hervey Bay Beaches, but when we've caught the Kingfisher resort boat over to Fraser island, have been told there is snorkelling off Woody Island (between Urangan Marina and Fraser Island )

Check with local dive/snorkel companies for the sites. IMO you'd need to get a boat out to snorkel locations.

enjoy your holiday

Hi Enzo,

Yes you would need to get a boat ... Krystal Kleer do a great snorkel trip out to the top of Big Woody Island which includes a BBQ lunch on round island.

Alternatively consider a day trip or overnight stay to Lady Elliot Island, which in my opinion offers the best snorkelling and diving of the entire Great Barrier Reef.
