Over the past few weeks I have been battling Pacific Blue in trying to get a refund for fares cancelled as a result of the Chilean Ash Cloud over NZ and Australia. Travellers may recall that Qantas, Jetstar and Pacific Blue refused to fly whilst Air New Zealand continued flying.
Throughout my attempts to get a refund Pacific Blue refused to respond to emails sent through their website, their call centre in Manilla didnt want to know and kept referring me back to the website.
I did manage to get some comment after criticising their poor customer service on Facebook.
I ended up resorting to asking my Travel Agent Flight CEntre Johnsonville to help and today they came through with a full refund and still nothing heard from Pacific Blue.
