Wilsons Promontory National Park place to stay

We want to go walking in the Wilsons Promontory National Park. Where is a good town to stay? We are looking for somewhere with a couple of restauarants and a place to sleep. thanks!

The National Park is a long way from any developed place. Tidal River, the furthest you can drive into the National park, is a small settlement with some accommdoation, but not much by way of "a couple of restaurants". Yanakie, the furthest outside of the National Park, only has a few shops and not much else. For a larger town, you're probably looking at Foster or something similar. That is a good 40 minute drive to the park and back.
