Freedom pass for Gold coast

Hi,

I am going to the gold coast for a week and I was wondering whether to buy the tourist Freedom pass (airport + themepark transfers + local bus) or just use the local bus service. The pass is $113 for 7 days. How much is the local bus to/from the airport and to Warner Bros, Seaworld and wet and wild?

Thanks for your help

Hi,

My first instinct is to say don't bother and it sounds expensive.

I would personally just use the local bus service. It's really quite cheap.

So unless you are going to be doing a lot of side trips on buses I wouldn't bother.

Are you doing Dreamworld, Movieworld and Wet N Wild? Because they are the furthest away from the coast.

Seaworld would only be a couple of bucks to get to on a bus.

Hi,

Thanks for the advice. I am going to Wet and wild, seaworld and movieworld. Can you just buy tickets on the local buses from the drivers?

Yeah mate. Where are you staying? There are express buses from the coast direct to the Theme Parks. It's the Gold Coast's bread and butter really,.

Hi,

I am staying at the Treasure Island Holiday park, next to the Harbourtown shopping centre. Hopefully there should be lots of bus stops there.

Thanks for your help
