Accommodation

My husband and four kids are flying into Darwin on the 10th of July and hiring a van on the 11th to explore the top end. I need accommodation for a family of 6 for one night, preferably walking distance from the Mindil markets... possibly an apartment or two rooms...any suggestions?

Hey Trix,

there are a few options for you, the first is sky city casino but as it is the middle of high season it wont be cheap, you can try the Vitina Motel, we use it for our staff when they fly up & have found it clean & fairly good in regards to price, approx 10 min walk to market, if not your options then go further into town & prices tend to get dearer, good luck & enjoy Darwin :)

I would suggest Cullen Bay serviced apartments or Marina View service apartments also in the city Mantra on the Esplanade and Mantra Pandanas,Argus Apartments,Botanic Gardens Apartments, Mediterranean All suite Hotels,ONE 30 ESPLANADE SERVICED APARTMENTS, Peninsula Apartments and in Parap which is 5 minute drive from Mindil Beach Parap Village Apartments.

I hope this helps as it the tourist season up in Darwin I think it will be what you can arrange at this time

Thanks for the replies...

I have booked accommodation walking distance form the markets. The rooms have just been repainted and refurbished, which can only be a good thing...i hope.
