Question about Opal Card and Sim in Airport!

Hi, I read somewhere I should get a opal card from airport and use that for trains, bus everything.

In australia, they have some 7 days unlimited opal pass ?

How much AUD ?

And for the sim card, in sydney arrival terminal, do we get sim cards ?

Which sim card gives the best 4G data ?

You can get the Opal. And at the airport. It isn't an unlimited travel pass but a card you load with money to pay for your travel. There are daily and weekly caps though. You can read more here:https://www.opal.com.au/en/about-opal/benefits-of-travelling-with-opal-card/

Which SIM package would be best depends on how you want to use it. Types of calls and how much data. Different packages for different people. There is an OPTIS store at the airport. There will probably be a TELSTRA one too..

link - you can get/load $ on card at airport or newsagent/convenience shops around city - manage the $ load as no refund for overseas visitors (you need a local bank account to get a refund)

There is an optus shop as well as a Vodafone outlet at the arrival hall. My pick would be Optus and they have a decent visitors package.

We generally recommend you load $30-40 on your opal (depends on how much traveling you plan to do) and top up as needed.

It is unlimited once you reach the cap.

$60 per week or $15.40 per day or $2.60 on a Sunday.

However, the Opal week runs Monday to Sunday. If your week straddles 2 Opal weeks, it could cost you more than $60.

"In australia, they have some 7 days unlimited opal pass ?"

Note that the Opal card is for public transport only within Sydney; not Australia-wide.

So long as it is a government ferry or a government bus.
