Entry to two parks

I will be travelling to Disneyland for one day. Will shuttle from paris and return same day.

Should I book both the parks -would covering both parks in a single day make sense?

I would always book two parks, they are only 5 mins apart.

both parks are 5 mins walk apart. my advice would be at the Studios gate before opening. the reason I suggest to start there is because the Main park is open later especially in the summer it's open until 11pm so plenty of time to explore there.
