Hi! We will be arriving in Positano on a full moon. We were thinking of dinner at da Vincenza. Do they have outdoor seating? Can’t tell from their website.
It does but you need to reserve -- its more limited than some other places
Da Vincenzo is along the roadway on the interior side without much view. You'd be better off at Bar Bruno where the food is not nearly as good but the views down onto Positano are fantastic. The seating there is still along the roadway but it's a tiny roadway and not that big of a deal. Especially after your first glass of vino.
Do not miss Da Vincenzo (in fact, go as often as possible) but IMO don't plan on going for a nice view on a moonlit night. If that's what you're after you might think about taking the Mobility Amalfi Coast bus to Praiano and dining at La Strada, or Mama!. (Maybe Kasai but the view is not up on a terrace.) I would book La Strada at least the day before to ensure a table on the upstairs terrace. At any of those be sure to ask for outdoors and terrace at the first two. Go to Facebook and type "Mobility Amalfi Coast" into the search box for schedules. The bus will drop you at the door of any of those restaurants.Edited: 22 May 2018, 05:15
Caffe Positano has great view tables if I remember correctly - not sure how the food or service is these days as I havent been in years. But if the food is still good, its location and view tables were fantastic.
Yes! That is Caffe Positano! We loved the outdoor tables and the feel of that restaurant. One trip I think we booked the end table/first table on that outside railing for 3 nights out of 6 for dinner simply because we liked the vibe so much :) To the OP - if you want outdoor seating with full moon view - you should consider this place. Brilliant EnigmaWmn!
