Gili Islands during Ramadan

Hi I’ll be heading to the Gili Islands with my friends at the start of June for 5 days. Are the Gili Islands still worth going to during Ramadan? Is there a good atmosphere and bars/restaurants open? Or should we change our plans and head to the Nusa islands instead?

During daylight hours only thing I'd recommend out of respect is to not eat or drink whilst you are in public ie. when on a ferry, walking through the island etc

Other than that carry on as normal at restaurants, beach, tourist spots, hotel etc

Jude life goes on for Muslims during Ramadan, don't stress

As Resmen said. The main disruption is the last day of Ramadan, and a few days after as many staff go home and many cafes and bars close with a few open on skeleton staff. But you will miss that
