Any suggestions for travel plan?

Hello!

I have just finished planning for 3 days in Vienna (sort of) Would love to know if you guys have any suggestions or think I am taking on too much.

This is my first time in Europe - I am very new to travelling. I have no knowledge of the language - and sometimes the names are confusing so I get thrown off... So forgive me if my plan looks messy

I have an apartment in Pater-Schwartz-Gasse 1150 district. Which I hope is within good distance to transport.

I would like to get the 72hour Vienna Pass which gives me access to attractions - but I dont know if i can reserve tickets online with the card? Or do we get express entry with the Vienna Card?

I would love to skip the lines if there are any... I can reserve online but that would send my Vienna Card to waste ? Any thoughts?

Okay, here goes my plan.......

Day 1 10 June Sunday - arrival at 1830hrs at Wien Hbf

Arriving quite late, so head to apartment, followed by a grab and go dinner @ Wurstelstand am Hohen Markt.

Walk around the 1st district in the evening just to get our bearings - love to see the city at night

End of evening - rest.

Day 2 11 June Monday

Breakfast @ GREGORS KONDITOREI

20mins by U1 and U4

Sights to see today

- Mozarthaus Vienna

- St Stephens's Cathedral

- St Michael's Church

- Hofburg Palace

- Imperial Treasury

- Austrian National Library

Lunch @ Demel

Kohlmarkt 14, Vienna 1010, Austria

After lunch

- Albertina

- Vienna State Opera House

- Leopold Museum

- Maria Theresian Platz

- Bergtheater (abit further off)

Dinner @ Restaurant Vincent or Al Borgo

Check out night life at Gurtel Ring Road - under subway tracks (is this open on Mondays? :\ )

End of Day

Day 3 - 12 June Tuesday

0900hrs: Schönbrunn Palace

12noon: lunch @ Vienna Naschmarkt

1400hrs: Travel to Belvedere

Visit both Upper and Lower and Gardens area + The Orangery

1600hrs - leave for Vienna Crime Museum

1800hrs - Viennese Giant Ferris Wheel

Dinner @ Schweizerhaus

2030hrs - Head to Danube Canel at night for a stroll

13 June Day 4

I have nothing planned as I thought I would leave this empty in case I dont complete anything in the first few days

I also have a few places in mind for food - would love to know if people think these places arent too bad. Not looking for anything fancy or expensive. Just something average with good food?

1. Re: Any suggestions for travel plan?

There are a number of good itineraries listed – if you look for 1½,2,3 days in Vienna.

Have a pick!

Yes, you did a good job in researching your restaurants.

If you do the 72 hrs. Pass you can skip the line at some places – actually, only Schoenbrunn is crucial!
