Going to Monte Carlo using train

It is feasible to go to Monte Carlo from Paris, France using a train? Is any other city close by in where a train coming from Paris could be dropping off or the only way is flying to Nice airport?

Thanks,

Mr. Blanco

Monte Carlo is only 20 minutes by regular commuter train from Nice, where almost all TGVs from Paris terminate. But one TGV a day goes on to Monte Carlo so no need to change.

Thanks, Ed for your prompt answer. So, if I understood correctly only one train per day arrive to Monte Carlo from Paris , if that statement correct? What Website is available to check itineraries for these trains? What is the meaning of TGV?

Thanks,

Once again:

There are at least 6 TGV's a day from Paris to Nice.

From there it is a 20 minute train trip from Nice to Monaco.

That is a commuter style train that runs 2 or 3 an hour.

A TGV is a high-speed train.

Thanks all for your answer. I would like to have the Website in where I can find itineraries and prices to compare.

It's really best to ask your questions in one place, Varadero. I am replying again here in case others are looking for voyages-sncf.com
