Monaco-sites that are a must see

In Monaco from may 5th thru may 16th. What sires are a must see? Would Rome be day trip or should we plan on spending a night or 2 there? I only speak English, will I be able to communicate? Any advice on anything would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

I agree 100% with Moth re Venice.

Anyway I read in the always truthful Daily Mail that they had straightened up the Leaning Tower of Pisa.
