Gozo ferry

I am heading over to Gozo next month. I will be picking up a hire care from the airport and driving up to Gharb. I think I read somewhere that you don't pay for the ferry on the way over to Gozo but you pay on the way back. Is this correct ?

Yes, that's correct. Tickets are only purchased from Gozo to Malta.

Car + one driver = €15.70

Each extra adult is €4.65

No booking is possible. Turn up & queue only.

Foot passengers can pay at either way.

As a car driver you just drive into the queue waiting to board the ship and board when instructed ,

On the return journey as you approach the ship there is a pay booth where you pay for car and driver and any other passengers ,

Very easy really.
