Took the bus Heraklion to Rethmynon a few weeks ago and I think it was 7.60e one way. (Just possibly it was 6.80e but I'm not certain if that was for another bus trip Rethmynon to Chania - definitely one of the two).
There are daily sailings to Santorini from Heraklion and a few operators to pick from. The fastcats take 2.5 - 3hrs to do the crossing. You can buy tickets for just the boat crossing from the operators (at the Port, local agency or online) or book an excursion with one of the many local firms in all the towns and resorts - expect to pay 104e - 118e each for a day excursion which would include hotel transfers, fastcat boat and coach tour on Santorini. Just a return boat ticket is around 100e anyway.
