Zante ferries

Hi everyone,

I was able to get a ferry out of piraeus now instead of lavrio (better public transportation from airport to piraeus at night/early morning). We are traveling to kythnos with Zante ferries. Does anyone know where their ticket office is located at the port an where the ferries leave? Thanks!

Both near to Gate E9, which is around to the left past Pl. Karaiskai, approx 15 min walk from the Metro station/bridge.

Ticket office Zante Ferries is on the quay at Gate E9 from where the ferry leaves. If you come with the bus X96 from the airport, get off at busstop 'Karaiskaki Square' or the one before that.

Can't miss the ferry with these colours :-)

You can of course buy tickets from the various ticket/travel agencies close to the harbour at Piraeus. All the same price on a computerised web site.

Thanks a lot for the information! Are there any cafes near and what time do they open? since we arrive in the middle of the night and leave at 7:15, coffee and some breakfsat would be very nice before departure :)

Many coffee shops stay open 24hours a day.All as you get close to the train terminal.

There are any number of cafes in the main ticket block near where you get off the bus and they are very close to the Gate you need.

Athens airport is open all night and you can also get good refreshments there before you get the bus down to piraeus the x96 costs 5 euros takes about 65-75 mins at night

a 5am bus is OK for a 7.15 ferry incl buying the tickets

some zante ferry have cabins too so if you are exhausted then you can buy one on board from the pursers desk

cafes on board also will be open
