Old Town or New Town

Hi. We are thinking about booking a holiday next year but cannot decide whether to stay in the Old Town or 'the strip'. We want good nightlife, not necessarily clubs, but bars with music, entertainment etc and more importantly, a good choice of restaurants, where you can eat outside, as we don't like to eat indoors when on holiday. Any advice on the best location for us?

Definatley the old town.....more choice of better quality restaurants with outside seating as well as choice of bars from local to one that play decent music but are not night clubs.

The first time we went we stayed at Tropical sol which was great as it is between strip & old town.

There are plenty of restaurants & bars in the local area. We are going in December & have booked the Brisa sol which we looked at when we were there previously, it has an indoor pool & is nearer to the old town.

Another one we liked the look of is Oura Beach view.

Hi. I would opt for brisa sol or ondamar aparthotel they are in the middle of the old town and the strip loads of cafes, restaurants and supermarkets on your doorstep, 10 min walk to the strip or 15min walk to the old town, we only paid 4 euros in a Taxi back from the old town at night, happy hunting :-)
