My family will have one extra day along the west coast in late May and are considering a day trip to the Berlengas archipelago. I understand the boat rides can be pretty rough depending on the wave conditions. None of us experience motion sickness, however I'm wondering if it's too rough for little ones (ages 3 and 5). My questions are:
1) Do the speed boats allow young children? (the longer ferry ride might be too long for them)
2) Are conditions in late May usually more calm?
3) Are we allowed to bring a packed lunch?
Any other tips would be greatly appreciated!
