Thanks Ron, looking forward to my first visit to Amsterdam in November! Passed through a few times but never stayed, though it's one of the very few places we can fly to directly from Aberdeen!

Tinkers looks like brilliant value and it's good to have a personal recommendation. No mention on their website but I assume they have vehicles big enough for six people.

They don't actually have their own vehicles, they just arrange a local firm to take you. I have only used them twice but I think they have been around for a while and last time I had a large12 seat transit mini bus to myself.

They are actually about half the price of a normal large taxi from the rank.

My wife and I recently we were in Amsterdam. We used TAXI VAN DALFSEN to go from Amsterdam airport hotel to Rotterdam cruise port and back as well as for transfer to Schiphol airport. The quote was the best of few quotes I obtained, he was always on time to pick us up, helped with the luggage and very professional. We would not hesitate to used them again and similarly recommend to our friends.
