Coffeeshop for older people

Hello I'm visiting in June 15th to 17th with my 66 year old mum. Can anyone recommend a coffeeshop in central (We staying at the bank hotel), that would be a relaxed atmosphere for the two of us. Not too busy or loud preferably with outdoor seating

June is a very busy month in Amsterdam. Even in the offseason of Janurary I saw lines out the door at more popular shops every times I passed. It took me 15 mins to find a seat at Barneys Coffeeshop last trip.

Now I know Dick and Pala etc may have some good suggestions. My choice would be the Noon. When I was in last trip it had open seats each time and you could have a conversation. Near the Rijks.

Dolphins Coffeeshop also seemed to have seating and was quiet enough to chat with someone,

The farther away from the center should be less busy

Lots more visitors in the last 10 years at the same time there are now fewer coffeeshops open.

Just around the corner from your hotel is Siberie. Nice and quite usually and they have very nice tea.

Dolphins is a complete ripoff joint these days, and I would assume, a crowd to match. I can't recommend it. In fact I recommend against it.

Also, you can ignore all the coffeeshops on Haarlemmerstraat and across from the flower stand on the Haarlemmersluis. These are not the coffeeshops you're looking for.

I don't really know the shops along Haarlemmerstraat/Haarlemmerdijk that well. I've just always stopped in and purchased but didn't linger.

Yeah, it's usually filled with younger drug tourists and it's kinda large which gives it a sort of non-cozy feeling.

Siberie is perfect for this request.

Do not go to dolphin. It's a total ripoff. there's a place onprinsengracht near anne frank house called la turtelia or something which is nice and relaxed.
