Five Ladies Amsterdam

Best places to go to eat and drink and hang? Cool hang out spots? We're quite girly I suppose and some have been to Amsterdam and others haven't. Going to celebrate our 30th birthdays and just wanna soak up the vibe of the city.

What is your budget?

What cuisine are you looking for?

Where are you staying?

With this, it'll be easier to recommend.

We're doing the same thing .... 5 girls celebrating birthdays and travelling next April. Our budget is around £600 for the whole trip (flights are £130) we'll share rooms and we'll eat any cuisine. We haven't booked accom yet and so any advice on that as well as some cool places to eat, drink, dance would be great too. Sorry to hijack your question but it seems we're in the same boat!

9 streets area for boutique shops! There's also an area around Droog (design studio, just google Droog Amsterdam) which is between Waterlooplein and the center of town where my friends and I enjoyed stopping by some tiny cosy pubs.

Best way is just to go right in to the center, pick a direction, walk, and be open to stopping by interesting things you see as you go around :D

No you are not all in the same boat.

If ypu want lodging advice then start a thread of your own, tell us your exact dates of stay, and an idea of the hotel budget per room or per person per night.

Flights are a different issue. Those are a different issue.
