How long to allow for Tower and walk to Pisa San Rossore?

First visit to Pisa coming up next month and I'm getting ready to book tickets to climb the tower. If we want to plan to be heading to Florence on a train that leaves Pisa San Rossore at 18:45 and climbing the Tower is the last thing we want to do that day, what time should we select for the tickets? Will 17:15 allow us adequate time to enjoy the climb and the view, get back down, and walk to San Rossore for a 18:45 train?

You have to leave all belongings in the lockers (you keep the key) before your timed climb. You can only take your camera. If memory serves, there's about 30 people on the timed climb. I would allow 15-20 minutes to collect your things from the locker. The climb is about 30 minutes, including up/down and photo ops.

Will you have your regional train ticket to Florence?

www.opapisa.it/en is the official website.

So, yes, your time frame should work.
