Ticket Agents (concerts/opera)

Is operainroma.com a good site to book with? I've also seen classictic.com, music.opera.com and italianticketoffice.com. I know some can be fraudulent

1. Re: Ticket Agents (concerts/opera)

We attend quite a few "classical" music events in Florence.

We have never, ever used any ticket agent.

We do business directly with the Maggio Musicale, the theaters -- such as the Pergola, the Verdi, the Niccolini, etc., and/or with the particular ensemble, such as the Orchestra della Toscana. They all have their respective websites.

There are also additional venues, such as the Opera del Duomo, Orsanmichele, the Pitti, etc., where concerts are performed. There also are concerts -- primarily for tourists, I believe, at the English church of St. Marks, at the ex-church of Santa Monica, and at the church of Santo Stefano al Ponte.
