Thank you for the information, very much appreciated.
We'll be going from Como to Malpensa in the late afternoon in mid-May. I've looked at the options on two websites: Trenord and Trenitalia and they show the same trains. Is there a difference between the two companies? The price is around 11 Euro each. Is there a cost savings to buy far in advance? I don't think so since these are Regional trains but I wanted to be sure. Also, there is a change in SARONNO that we'll need to do in 20 minutes. We'll have luggage and as we're not familiar with this station, is this a good amount of time to find the train to MXP? Thanks very much!
Both the same, Trenord the actual operator. There are no discounts on regional trains. And 20 minutes is plenty; referring always to the train number on the departure board or monitor. Your tickets are good for 3 hours for any train on the route.
Thanks very much for your responses! I appreciate the information.
That's good to know. Thanks!
