Naples Greco-Roman theatre

Hi

last time I was in Naples I did the underground tour seeing bits of the theatre.

I've seen online that you can view the actual seating area in the middle of apartment buildings accessed by a local road.

Does anyone know which road & is it just a case of wandering in easy access?

Thanks

You find it in Vico Cinquesanti. Just have to search "teatro romano di Neapolis". A roman theatre right in the centre of the city, one of the thousand hidden jewels of Naples.

But can you just walk in off the street into the seating area?

No, you have to plan a visit. Ask to the guys of "Apoikia srl" (they have a page on a known social network where you can drop them a message).
