Hi, I'm off to Naples for 5 nights next Thursday, I am wondering if you can get Alpro soya or almond milk in Supermarkets as I am dairy intolerant. ?
Many thanks in advance.
Alpro is a very common brand that many stores carry. I’ve seen almond and other nut “milk” as well as soya and pudding packs.
On our last two trips to Europe I was shocked at how extensive the alternative milk selections have become in Italian and Spanish markets. Even some of the hotel breakfast buffets have several choices of non dairy milks like rice milk, hemp, almond and soy milk and possibly even cashew which is getting more popular here.
That's great! thanks
You can try almond milk of Alpro brand
In the UK its possible to buy European non dairy milk that is called Barrista style. It’s thicker and not as thin as most almond and coconut milks that water down cereal and works nicely in coffee. Picked it up at Waitrose but I think it was Scandinavian.
