using CIBC foreign currency (Euro) debit card

Has anyone used the CIBC foreign currency card (EURO) debit in Italy? Just wondering if it is well accepted.

I would not risk it only because very few people have experienced it. Just keep your money in your account and use your debit card.along with your credit card.

If the foreign currency cards sold in Canada are similar to those in USA and Australia, they should be avoided. They usually have a very poor exchange rate, so it costs around 6% to load funds onto the card.
